Otter and baby brooch
Otters are inquisitive and playful animals and can be found along the seashore or on the banks of rivers and lochs. They like to stick together and when they sleep they will float together in a group or hold hands.
This necklace shows a little baby otter pup sleeping on his mother while she holds on tight as they happily drift down the river. It is made from three layers of marble and gloss acrylic with engraved and hand inked sections. The subtle layering gives the element of depth to the piece. It measures 8.5 cm in width and secured to a scroll brooch bar fastening.
