Fallow deer fawn brooch or necklace
Fallow deer are native to Europe and have been in Scotland for centuries.
This little fawn is resting in the meadow full of toadstools, flowers and pretty butterflies. The fawn design is highly detailed and intricately cut from three layers of marble and gloss acrylic. The head and legs are raised on a slight platform layer to give a sense of depth. It has engraved and hand inked sections with a faux pearl flower centre. It measures 7.5 cm in width – the brooch is secured to a scroll brooch fastening and the necklace is suspended from an 18 inch allergy free silver plated curb chain.
