Cat O Lantern brooch or necklace
This design is based on a pumpkin I carved on Halloween and thought it would be great to recreate in jewellery form. One for the cat lover like myself, this design is cut from gloss and marble acrylics with a subtle layering technique to give a sense of depth. The stalk is made from engraved cherry wood. To make this piece extra special, the base layer is an orange glow in the dark which cleverly mimics a pumpkin glowing with a candle. The acrylic must be exposed to some sunlight for at least an hour before the glow element takes effect.
The pumpkin measures 6.5cm in width and you can choose between pastel or bright orange. There is also a brooch or necklace option. The brooch is secured to a scroll bar fastening and the necklace is suspended from a silver plated chunky belcher chain of 18 inches. If you prefer a custom length then just leave a note at checkout.
