The concept of this design is about how the 3 phases of the dandelion represents the sun, moon and stars. The yellow flower is the sun, the white seed puff is the moon and the dispersing seeds are the stars. In this design I have used contrasting shades of green in the leaf and stem to distinguish day and night. I have made this in 3 layers so the night elements are on one layer and the day elements are on the next layer for added depth The flowers close up at dusk so the little bud is part of the night layer. I have included a happy fuzzy bee in this design too as they just love dandelions and plus bees are essential to the earth and the natural world.
This brooch is highly intricate and made from numerous little pieces and measures 7.5cm. It is carefully constructed from gloss, marble, radiant, mirror, glitter and frost acrylic with engraved and hand inked details. The base is cut from a translucent yellow with luminous edging adding a bit more dreamy magic to the piece. Choose from either brooch or necklace. The brooch is secured to a scroll brooch bar fastening and the necklace is suspended from an 18 inch allergy free silver plated belcher chain.

This design features a stunning little bluetit sitting amongst the cherry blossoms. It is intricately constructed from 2 layers of marble and gloss acrylic with a subtle 3rd layer on the wing for added depth. There are engraved and hand inked details and a Swarovski pearl eye. The branch is laser cut from cherry wood and three blossoms which have been heat formed by hand are attached with gold pins and faceted dreamy glass beads.
She measures 8.5 cm and you can choose between a brooch or necklace. The brooch is secured to a scroll brooch bar fastening and the necklace is suspended from an 18 inch allergy free silver plated twist link chain.
